OUR LEATHER

Our leather is the foundation of everything we make, and we take immense pride in sourcing and crafting it with intention and integrity. Every hide we use is ethically sourced from the highest quality tanneries in the United States, Italy, and Mexico. We offer products made from Horween, Hermann Oak, Chahin, and our “Heritage” leather tanned by a small local tannery in the Midwest.

For most of our products, we use full grain, vegetable-tanned leather—the highest grade available. Full grain leather retains the natural surface of the hide, including its unique grain patterns and subtle imperfections, which tell a story of authenticity and character. Vegetable tanning is an age-old, eco-conscious process that uses natural tannins derived from tree bark and other organic materials. It not only creates a rich, earthy tone that develops a stunning patina over time but also avoids the harsh chemicals found in many modern tanning methods.

While full grain veg-tanned leather is our standard, we understand that certain products demand different characteristics—such as added softness, flexibility, or water resistance. In those cases, we may use other premium leathers, such as chrome-tanned, oil-tanned hides, and certain ethically sourced exotic leathers - always clearly labeled so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Our commitment to quality goes beyond appearance—it’s about longevity, craftsmanship, and respect for the material. This is full grain leather that looks better with age, built to last a lifetime, and crafted for those who value substance as much as style. Whether you're purchasing a rugged briefcase or a refined accessory, you can trust that the leather is among the best in the world—responsibly sourced, expertly tanned, and made to go the distance.
